FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You can sign up for a membership online through our website or in person during staffed hours. If you’re new to American Barbell, you’ll first need to Register as a New Client. If you’ve visited before or completed a waiver, you can Sign Up for a Membership directly.

  • All memberships at American Barbell are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time in accordance with our membership policy.

  • To cancel your membership, please visit us in person during staffed hours and bring a valid form of ID, as per the membership agreement.

  • We welcome individuals of all ages! However, members or guests aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older).

  • Yes — childcare is now available as part of our Athletic Club expansion.

    Childcare hours are listed on our Hours of Operation page, and pricing details can be found on our Membership Options page.

    We’re excited to provide a safe, convenient space for your kids while you train.

  • All guests must purchase a $25 day pass to access the gym facilities.

  • Yes, filming is permitted at American Barbell when done respectfully and without disrupting other members. Recording may be restricted at staff discretion, and tripod use is limited during peak hours. All individuals must consent before appearing in photos or videos. For full filming guidelines, please refer to our Code of Conduct.

  • Tripod usage is not permitted during peak hours:
    Mon–Fri: 5:00–10:00 AM & 4:00–9:00 PM
    Sat–Sun: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

    Outside of these hours, tripod use may be limited at staff discretion if it creates safety concerns, blocks walkways, or disrupts other members.

  • Yes. The sauna is a dry sauna. Towels are required, clothing must be worn, and shoes, food, and drinks are not permitted. Please see our Code of Conduct for full sauna guidelines.

  • Failure to follow gym policies may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or termination of membership, as outlined in our Code of Conduct.

  • Yes! Our trainers offer one-on-one personal training, basketball skill development, and customized workout programming. Visit the Trainers page or speak with staff to learn more.

  • Yes — we’re always looking for passionate, service-driven individuals to join our team. We’re currently accepting applications for Membership Concierge, Child Care, and Trainer/Coach positions.
